The Pacific Northwest institute serves Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The Pacific Northwest institute is co-directed by Dr. Clarissa Dirks, associate professor of biology at Evergreen State College, and Dr. Mary Pat Wenderoth, principal lecturer in biology at the University of Washington, Seattle.
